The geometric shapes in kindergarten workbooks have held my attention for more than 70 years. Children's wooden blocks became constructs for a life time. At the U. of Iowa my head and hands discovered the malleability of clay. I've never let go. My early ceramic organic forms hinted at geometry. The boat forms include elements of fish and architecture. Wall works explore architectural concerns. The ceramic blocks are studies in altered geometry. Somewhere color entered my oeuvre.
