I have always enjoyed using my eyes. From an early age I have tried to capture the beauty around me. Lopez has made this both easy and challenging. I feel like I will never be finished and that’s the good news. This year I have been using porcelain to make puppets and clay creatures. The creatures go from benevolent to demonic and back again! Sometimes making art seems to be a process of discovering what is already there.
